It's festivities galore in all across. But no festival is complete without its share of delicacies. During this holy month of Ramzan, here's what you must definitely try at the iftar party.

It's festivities galore in India. With barely a few days left, people all over are gearing up to celebrate Eid. After the prayers, it's the iftar party that everyone looks forward to. After breaking the fast with a date, the mouthwatering dishes are delicious and sumptuous. From chicken curries to masala rice to biryani, the holy month of Ramadan is a gastronomic extravaganza. But beyond these dishes, it's the sweet savories that we can't get enough of. From stuffed dates to fruit tarts, it's the traditional sweet dishes that are palate pleasers. 
Apart from kheer, not a lot of people know about the quintessential Arabic desserts. With barely any days left for Eid, here are five dishes you must definitely try. 
 
Karabij
Often addressed as Aleppo cookies, Karabji is the quintessential Arabic desserts that only leave you wanting for more. The Arabic pastry has is made of semolina flour, orange blossom water, sugar, and flour, whereas the filling is made of pistachio, sugar, and water. No festivities can ever be complete without this delicacy.

A traditional middle-eastern sweet cake, Semolina cake is also often called as basbousa . While you're preparing the batter, add sweetened lime juice to enhance and balance the sweet taste. You can also quirk up the 
Ma'amour Mad
We bet this is a savory everyone would want to binge eat on. A quintessential Arab dessert is usually made of pistachio, dates, mahleb and orange blossom water. Often called a flattened cookie, you can also replace the dates with nuts, figs or walnuts. We bet the lingering taste will urge you to keep eating more. 
Phirni
No festival can ever be complete without a sumptuous portion of phirni . The quintessential rice pudding is usually served in small earthen pots called shikoras that only accentuate the flavour of the grounded sweet rice. Halawet el Jibn
