The engagement party of Akash Ambani and Shloka Mehta was the biggest one in Mumbai in the week. It was a party that witnessed the cream of Bollywood turn up in their sartorial best.
Among the who's who of Bollywood was Alia Bhatt twinkling like Tinkerbell in pink.

The 25-year-old star has recently taken to wearing ethnic ensembles, and was seen in quite a few during the promotions of her last film, Raazi.
The frequent wearer of ripped jeans and flouncy dresses stunned in a bright pink Manish Malhotra brocade handloom saree with gold border.
Alia paired her saree with a light pink blouse with strategic cutouts over the back and shoulders.

Alia went completely traditional with a gajra on her bun, and a bindi.
Her blush-pink cheeks and glossy lips were a breath of freshness.
A pair of statement earrings added flair to her look, and we have fallen in love.
We do hope Alia wears more of sarees, because she is an absolute delight in one.
