We have loved Jahnvi Kapoor in ethnic ensembles that she is currently sporting for the promotions of her upcoming film, Dhadak. From florals to solid colours, she has been making a mark with her choice of colour palettes.
But when she recently donned a western ensemble, we were left wishing she hadn't.
She wore a white full-sleeved top from Luisa Beccaria's spring-summer 2018 collection.
The lace-eyelet fabric had a ruffled neckline, and the skirt too had ruffles.
We were not impressed by the monochrome layering.

The ensemble looked dull, and the two distinct fabrics failed to create the kind of balance that could have helped Janhvi pull off the look.
The strappy olive heels were the only good thing about Janhvi's look.
Even the beaten gold hoops she wore failed to impress.
We love how Janhvi has added a dimension of fresh summery vibes to her ethnic outfits, but this was a case of ticking all the wrong boxes, and we hope she bounces back into the fashion game quickly.
